Valentine’s Day Series: Valentine’s Day Gifts for Kids
Since having kids, I’m always excited when I get a chance to celebrate. Valentine’s Day is usually full of cards and candy. I’m not a big fan of candy with my 5-year-old (she has enough energy as it is). So I’ve found fun non-candy gifts that the kids in your life are sure to love!
Stuffies
Pajamas
Tonies
Slippers
Books
Lego flowers
Craft kits
Cups
Stuffies
Who doesn’t love a teddy bear! My daughter has so many stuffed animals that we’ve cut back on buying them as often. But Valentine’s Day gives me an excuse to add to her collection! How cute is the pink teddy bear by Gigglescape?
Pajamas
I love themed pajamas! If you decide to stay in this Valentine’s day, let them wear their pj’s all day while doing crafts for a relaxing day of fun!
Tonies
My absolute favorite thing I’ve purchased for my kids is the TonieBox. There are so many different Tonies, and you can personalize them to whatever your kid is into at the moment. They even have Tonies that you can record on and leave a special message or read them their favorite stories (in case they want to hear Chicka Chika Boom Boom for the 100th time.)
Slippers
As someone who wears slippers whenever I am home, let’s just say I’m an advocate for slippers in every color and fashion! With the cooler weather, I am constantly putting socks on my kids, and my daughter is not a fan. She instead prefers to grab her Christmas slippers, which are already too small somehow?! So these Valentine’s Day slippers will be perfect. Bonus: they also come in adult sizes, so you can match with your little one!
Books
One can never have too many books! I keep telling myself this, and now both of my kids have way more books than their bookshelves can hold. Admittedly, books are the one thing I usually do not say no to. So whenever I have an excuse to add a new one to their shelves, better believe I will!
Lego Flowers
Want a flower that will last forever and also fun to put together? Ever since my sister showed me hers displayed on her bookshelf, I’ve been interested in them. These are perfect for older kids who like flowers, Legos, or both! Bonus: Build the flowers together for extra bonding time!
Craft Kits
Target always has the cutest themed craft kits! Last year, I bought the wooden hearts for my daughter, and she loved painting and decorating them. She still has them on her desk, and we actually have one left over that we’ll paint this year!
Cups
When I saw this heart-shaped cup, I knew it would be the perfect gift to fill a Valentine’s Day basket. Making a Valentine’s breakfast? Fill the cups with a fun drink of orange juice, strawberries (mash them a bit), and sparkling water for a fizzy V-Day drink!
I hope you loved these non-candy Valentine’s Day gifts for the kids in your life. Have any fun gift ideas not mentioned above? Let me know in the comments!
